One LDPE, high pressure low density polyethylene

A kind of PE, the new material is translucent or milky white particles, the hardness is about 55~58D. The specific gravity is 0.91~0.925. Because of its relatively soft texture and brighter colors, it has become an important source of plastic flower plants. LDPE is often used as the leaves of plants, and LDPE grades with a higher melting index MI are usually selected to meet the processing requirements of plastic flower plants.

LDPE is a more environmentally friendly plastic, without plasticizers and bisphenol A, and has good chemical resistance and weather cracking resistance. However, because of its good chemical and solvent resistance, it is more troublesome to choose an adhesive to stop bonding and assembly. Generally, adhesives with good cohesiveness have a strong breath and may be toxic.

Two EVA ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer

The texture is softer than LDPE. The appearance is transparent particles, the approximate hardness is between 75~100A, and the specific gravity is 0.84~0.88. Non-toxic, but with a certain sour taste of vinegar. Because of its low hardness, EVA is commonly used as the raw material for succulent soft plastic flower plants. Like LDPE, it is more difficult to glue.

Three PU polyurethane information

PU is divided into three types: CPU casting type, TPU thermoplastic type, and MPU mixing type. The general plastic flower industry uses CPU type polyurethane processing. With its good casting processing performance, a thicker and larger plastic flower product can be manufactured. The PU plastic flower plants are usually sprayed with a layer of hand-feeling paint on the outside, which improves the aesthetics on the one hand and avoids the hydrolysis of PU materials or photo-degradation on the other hand. Soft PVC has soft texture, bright color, relatively low price, good mobility, and can be processed into shapes. It is an important source of plastic flower succulents.

PVC itself has no smell, but the choice of its additives (such as plasticizers, heat stabilizers) determines its environmental protection level. Nowadays, export requirements for environmental protection are becoming stricter, and ordinary PVC uses more environmentally friendly plasticizer additives. However, it does not eliminate a small number of small workshop-type enterprises that use inferior PVC raw materials. Even if environmentally friendly additives are used, PVC will release a toxic atmosphere when exposed to sunlight. In addition, when PVC materials are burned, they will release toxic and even carcinogenic dioxin. This is one of the reasons why many countries abroad restrict the use of PVC.

Five TPR (TPE) thermoplastic rubber

The appearance is transparent or solid-colored particles, the hardness is 0~100A, the specific gravity is 0.88~1.15, it is a thermoplastic material, which can be processed by injection molding. TPR thermoplastic rubber is environmentally friendly and non-toxic material, does not contain toxic plasticizers, does not contain bisphenol A, does not contain PAHS, etc., and does not release toxic substances when exposed to heat and light.
